Buttons in the back but it is a zip up. Only the top button requires buttoning.

Purchased for $1800 from A&E bridal in 2018.
No rips or tears, smoke free.
No discoloration.
I wore the dress in the hot summer and I was very comfortable. Light weight and breezy!
