*VINTAGE* 1966-1968 Levi’s Big E 501 selvedge denim 28x30

Like new pair of TRUE VINTAGE Levi’s 501 shrink to fit.
- Red line selvedge denim
- Single stitch inseam
- Bar tack pockets (no hidden rivets)
- Made in USA (button stamp #2)
- WPL 423 (made in USA) on back tag
- No inside care tag (pre 1970’s)
- Double stitch arcuate with “diamond stitch” on back pockets
- Size 28x30 (please refer to measurements for accurate sizing)

Here we have an almost new pair of Levi’s from what I believe to be late 1960’s. They still have the Big E tag which was replaced by the small e in 1971. This also has no inside care tag which came around in the 70’s as well. The back pockets feature a “bar stitch” which replaced the hidden rivets in mid 1960’s because people were complaining they would scratch furniture and tack. The sizing says a 28x30 but measurements are more like a 25x28. I believe these jeans are raw denim (shrink to fit) someone washed them one time, they shrunk, and then were put in a drawer for the last 55 years.
