This beautiful Capodimonte Chalice is from the mid 18th century. It features multiple scenes, from Amazonian women and lovers to Satyrs and dogs and many things in between. The 3D raised relief porcelain is in excellent bright condition which is outstanding for it’s age. It’s gilded with real 24k gold.
The scenes are centered around Greek mythology with the satyrs being included. The pictures really do not do this piece justice. This piece is extremely rare. There are no chips, breaks or cracks. Due to age there is minor crazing, and very little gold loss. This is definitely a cabinet piece and for serious collectors and will only increase in value as the years go on. Measures 8 1/4 inches tall and 3 inches diameter. ~Enjoy!
