This is a Towncraft cardigan.
It is a real name reproduction of PENNEY'S TOWNCRAFT.
It is an acrylic shaggy cardigan updated based on the 1960s mohair cardigan.
By using brushed acrylic for the material, it eliminates the itchiness often found in vintage mohair, and makes maintenance such as cleaning easier. The size and silhouette are also modern, and the relaxed size balance, which is not found in vintage items, makes it easy to incorporate into your outfit. Vintage mohair prices have skyrocketed, and especially larger sizes are rare.
