Woven from yarn spun by hand from raw silk. This is a Yuki-tsumugi fabric, said to last for three generations and become more beautiful with wear. It is soft, warm, and lightweight, and is a designated Intangible Cultural Property of Japan. The width is 39cm and the length is 12.55m. This is authentic Yuki-tsumugi. It has been stored at home for many years and is an unused, unsewn item. However, as shown in the photo on the right edge, there are about five small spots on the fabric, marked with circles. It is unknown whether these can be removed. Thank you for your understanding. The color is a pale indigo. The price is listed as 268,000 yen. The fabric has been pre-shrunk (water-treated).
