• HOW TO DETERMINE WIDTH - If your pup has not worn a wider width collar before please take a piece of paper and fold it to desired width & put it around your pups neck. If it doesn't look comfortable or appropriate please order a smaller width. 1.5" & 2" collars with buckles have buckles the same width as the nylon. For the most part, 1.5" and 2" width collars are appropriate for dogs over 50 lbs, dogs with especially longer necks, greyhounds, whippets, italian greyhounds, great dane type breeds.
• WHEN SIZING FOR A MARTINGALE COLLAR - You have to make sure the collar will open up enough to fit over your pups head so measure your dogs neck as well as the widest part of his/her head as well.
• PLEASE MEASURE YOUR DOG'S NECK BEFORE ORDERING - Please do not guess or use a sizing from another company. Our size chart is broken down by inches of the circumference of your pups neck. If you need an in between size or a XX-Small send us a message. There is no size standard for dog collars.
