- Material: The Fireplace Hearth Guard is 100% cross link polyethylene foam, has a smooth finish and is a high dense foam designed to absorb impacts. The foam has a 2lb density and is 5/8" thick. This is NOT made from Styrofoam. There is not an additional cover over the foam.
- Easy, simple installation: The hand-crafted Fireplace Hearth Guard is adjustable in width, depth, and height. Just choose your size, small, medium, or large. It can be easily trimmed with the knife and straight edge provided for a perfect fit and takes less than 5 minutes to install. Simply install the left and right side and trim the center to fit. You can also let us know your width and we can precut them for you.
- Stays in place and is non-toxic: Using our unique sticky pads that will stick to most materials. If an alternative is needed, we will provide them, free of charge. Our Baby Safety Foam is made from non-toxic, impact absorbent, high grade, closed cell foam. It doesn’t contain phthalates, latex, BPA, or heavy metals. The fireplace hearth guard is 100% foam.
