Fix A Leak is a blended-concentrated material designed to seal minor leaks in swimming pools, losing up to 1 inch in a 24 hour period. Fix A Leak is effective for leaks up to 1/8 inch in diameter. One 32 oz. size bottle is good for 22,000 gallons (100,000 liters.) The product is used mainly for leaks in the plumbing where you must provide the circulation for the product to get to the location of the leak. It is the pressure that will force the product through the leak in the pipe. Fix A Leak can be effective for hairline crack leaks on the floor of a concrete or gunite pool. The product is heavier than water and will eventually settle to the bottom of the pool. Fix a leak can be used for pinhole leaks in inground vinyl liner pools. The longevity of the seal will depend on the amount of foot traffic that may occur on the bottom of the pool. Fix A Leak in most cases will form a long-lasting seal.
