Soil probes are the most basic sampling tool for farmers, agricultural consultants, soil scientists, and others requiring a small diameter soil sample. Equipped with a built-in foot step allows for additional pressure to be exerted while driving the probe into the soil. This one-piece model includes a 10" rubber-gripped cross handle for added operator comfort and has an outer diameter of 7/8", but cuts a 5/8" X 12" soil core. This soil probe is constructed of powder coated chromoly and has heat-treated tips.
