Mix 136 (WILDFLOWER GARDEN & LANDSCAPING MIX) is designed for the environmental conditions of the Northern Tier States and for sites with mesic to wet soils. Flowering period and flower colors are coordinated for full season variety. The amount of seed of each species in the mix has been calculated using the number of seeds per pound of each species factored by establishment parameters. Mix 136 contains the following 5 native grass species and 18 native wildflower species: Virginia Wild Rye, Switchgrass, Bottlebrush Grass, Prairie Cordgrass, Big Bluestem, Plains Coreopsis, Butterfly Milkweed, Smooth Beardtongue, Blackeyed Susan, Ohio Spiderwort, Lupine, Purple Coneflower, False Sunflower, Spiked Blazing Star, Seed Box, Bergamot, Blue Vervain, Iron Weed, Swamp Milkweed, New England Aster, Showy Tickseed, Joe-Pye Weed, and Yellow Wingstem.
