Little Giant's heavy duty disappearing water feature basins are perfect for in-ground installations. Our basins are ideal for smaller applications when you want the soothing sounds of water but are limited on space. The basin sits flush with the ground and the sectioned access plates (grates) make maintenance a breeze. The DFB44 grates come with pop-out access covers for easy access to the lighting and the pump (lighting and pump are not included). Cover your basin with a wide variety of rocks or pottery (not included) for a disappearing water effect. The Little Giant DFB44 supports up to 3000 lbs.This is an easy Do It Yourself (DIY) weekend project. 1. Dig a hole 11 inches deep, 29 inches square at the bottom and sloping to 37 inches square at the top.2. Add sand if not level and place basin in hole. Back-fill with soil around the perimeter of the basin.3. Insert the 8 support rods and plate. Place the pump with check valve attached into the basin.4. Cut tubing long enough to reach the bottom of the basin to the top of the water feature.5. Install 3 of the 4 grates. Run the tubing through the center hole in the top of the center plate and connect it to the check valve/pump.6. Add waterand the last grate.
