However, for all installations we do recommend the addition of 4 standard 8 inch cinder blocks (can be purchased locally) placed evenly beneath its center. This will allow the grate to support anywhere from 100 to 1,000 pounds with no concern sagging or damage. A cement pad as a base is also recommended for water features
