Cypress wood contains natural oil that stubbornly resists decay and weathers to a rustic gray over time . Cypress also accepts stain or paint for a more dressy look . The tote is easily removed from the table and comes with a heavy-duty lid, so you can store potting soil or tools outside but still protect them from the elements . Narrow top shelf (5-1/2"W) and full-sized bottom shelf provide plenty of storage for flowerpots, bags of potting soil, gardening tools, gloves, boots and your favorite gardening hat. Solid and slatted inserts in worktable are interchangeable and removable . Slatted insert allows dirt to fall back into the tote, eliminating potting soil waste .
