SPANK RACE 33 RIMS The Spike Race 33 is a super-strong, light and stunning high-end gravity enduro / freeride / downhill rim featuring the innovative OohBah profile and Bead Bite technology, made of the exclusive Dynamal Alloy aluminium. The extra-wide profile provides a proper platform for wide tires to play out all their advantages. These rims feature the unique Oohbah technology, found only on Spank rims and wheels. Traditionally, the central channel of a rim is slightly curved or flat on most rims, but the Spank specific Oohbah design features a wave-like pattern in the centre. This Oohbah feature in the centre of the rim adds exceptional strength and makes the entire rigid and creates greater lateral stiffness, traits commonly only found on wheels that are much heavier. This structural benefit also allows Spank to make rims that are wider without having to add extra material, which would in-turn make them heavier.
