The DSI Elite 4 is one of the top selling color guard rifles, and is used by the top world winter guards and drum corps. Elite rifles are made from poplar, which results in various weight ranges coming off the production line. Most retailers will just ship customers a random rifle weight. We realize that personal preference on spinning weight is critical for peak performance. These medium weight rifles are hand selected to be in the average weight range of production batch. The weight is usually between 2 lbs 6 oz and 2 lbs 11 oz. This weight range is ideal for those who don't want to spin light or heavy rifles.
