Each dozen includes 8 drakes and 4 hens. We tested the Field Mallard Duck Decoys (SS1074) by Sillosocks Decoys last year with terrific results. I think we shot limits of mallards every day we hunted over them. One day in a corn field in NE and limited in 1 hour with 20 drakes!!! These Sillosock Mallard decoys are equipped with new 20 inch powder coated "hooked" stakes. We recommend not glueing the stakes in. This allows you to adjust the height of the decoy according to the wind and the field you are hunting in! In peas, lentils, winter wheat, and high winds...... slide the decoy down the stake so the body touches the ground. This stops any excess movement and makes the decoy look natural.
