The mount is made of heavy gauge aluminum and coated with a glossy black powder coating for salt water and fresh water protection. The mount features rigid HDPE plates for motor mounting stability, a securing aluminum locking lip, and fits directly to the widely used 3.75 x 4.75 inch bolt pattern, also known as a micro power pole bolt pattern. The mount provides a transom surface for any Newport Trolling motor model (Kayak, NV, X, and L Series) and NT300 Electric Outboard Motor. This mount keeps the propulsion centered on the boat for optimum performance.
