The 1272.0 MCM Pheasant ACSS Aluminum Conductor Steel Supported is a heterogeneous conductor, crafted from round aluminum 1350-O wires and round, coated steel core wire(s). The steel wires are shielded with a Class A coating of zinc 5% aluminum mischmetal alloy, with other coating classes available for enhanced corrosion resistance. Standard, High, Extra, and Ultra High Strength steel options are also available. These conductors are produced in line with the ASTM specification B856.
