Raychem Dead Break Elbow Connector, 800A

Raychem's ELBC-810 Dead Break Elbow Connectors link XLPE cables to electrical gear (like RMUs, switchgears, transformers) using CENELEC 'C' bushings, rated up to 17.5 kV. Crafted from highly modified EPDM rubber, these connectors are fully shielded, submersible, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. They feature one body and five stress cones, accommodating cross-sections from 25 mm to 500 mm. The design minimizes space usage in terminal boxes. Each connector has a capacitive test point, protected by a conductive cap, to check if the circuit is live. They're compatible with both mechanical and compression lugs, which can be ordered separately. The mechanical lug's pre-engineered design optimizes contact resistance between the connector and conductor.
