Handcrafted from solid brass, these doorbells are made using traditional sand casting methods, then meticulously ground and polished by hand. The buttons and wall mount screws are also solid brass and steel respectively, echoing the craftsmanship of a century ago. Avoid cheaper imitations; these are genuine, hand-finished brass pieces. They operate on standard 24V doorbell circuits, come with all necessary hardware, and measure approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter. A recess cutout of about 0.46 inches is required, and installation is straightforward with direct screw mount and two common wires. Choose from various finishes like Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Black Bronze, Polished Chrome, and Satin Nickel. Polished brass will naturally patina over time, while other finishes are tarnish-resistant. Custom lacquered brass is available for a high-shine, long-lasting finish. All dimensions are approximate.
