Caplugs TPN Series Square-Head Threaded Plugs are made for NPT, or National Pipe Threads, meaning these threaded plugs meet national technical standards. Approved to protect the circumference of the port while simultaneously protecting the threads from damage and moisture, these plugs are commonly used for low-pressure testing and in-plant processing. These plugs are distinguished by their square head, an unusual trait for plugs, especially when working with threads and pipes. However, this design choice makes for an easy installation and therefore easy removal, as the square provides an easier point to push in than a regular plug, and the flange allows for simple removal, just grab onto to pull out.
