• Accurate Model Matching: The motherboard is the 'control center' of the air conditioner. Replacement requires strict matching of the brand and model (such as inverter/fixed frequency) to avoid functional disorders or component damage due to parameter mismatches. The motherboard model label must be checked (usually on the front of the board).
• Safe Power-Off Operation: Before disassembly, the air conditioner's main power (including the outdoor unit switch) must be turned off, and capacitors discharged (especially inverter motherboards) to prevent electric shock or static damage to components. Insulated gloves should be worn during operation.
• Clear Wiring Labels: Before removing the old board, take photos with a phone to record the position of each wire connector (such as compressor, fan, sensor plugs) to avoid misconnection that could cause motor reversal or errors. Ensure wire connections are fully pressed to prevent loose connections.
