From any angle, the Handley Page Victor is a remarkable aircraft. Despite its late 1940s origin, its striking features give it a futuristic appearance even now. Like its V-Bomber siblings, the Valiant and the Vulcan, it was created out of urgent need, initially sharing the duty of maintaining Britain's nuclear deterrent in a world armed with unprecedented destructive power.
