The 1/2-inch spacing vinyl coated grids are extremely durable to provide years of use & are comfortable for your dog's paws. The elevated dog crate floor grids sit above the leak-proof pan in the dog crate by attaching onto the dog crate's side panels. In the event your dog has to use the bathroom in the crate the leak-proof pan below the floor grid will catch the mess. The pan can slide out of the crate for easy & hygienic cleaning without having to remove the floor grid from the dog crate. Please note you will only be purchasing the elevated dog crate floor grid, the metal dog crate is a separate purchase. You will also not be able to use the dog crate's divider panel in conjunction w/ the dog crate floor grid.
