Engine Alignment Tool New Engine Alignment Tool that can be used on most stern drives to align the drive to the engine during installation. Mercruiser Alignment Tool compatible with MerCruiser Sterndrives including Pre Alpha, Alpha 1 Gen 2, MR, R, all Bravo compatible with Volvo SX and OMC Cobra Drives. OEM Tools:Fit for MerCruiser P/N 91-805475A1 & 91-57797A3; Fit for Volvo SX P/N 3851083; Fit for OMC Cobra Part N 18-4442. This tool will correctly align all OMC Cobra and Mercruiser Outdrives motor with the exception of the Mercruiser TR and TRS Outdrive Models. Material: High quality 1045 Steel. This version comes with a hanging ring for the tool. Engine Alignment tool consists of two pieces Working Side & Handle Once Assembled, the tool works just as well as the one piece tools, but has the added benefit of taking up less storage space. Length: Approximately 23-5/8 inch. Alignment Tool comes without black oxide coating. The tool is professionally made in the United States on state-of-the-art CNC equipment with 100% quality inspection. Tool Specs: According to MerCruiser service bulletin No 92-9, the alignment tool must have the following sizes from front to back: 1.010" diameter, 2.200" long (section that fits into coupler); 1.150" diameter, 2.750" long; 1.375" diameter rest of the bar (section that fits gimbal bearing inside diameter). We test all of our tools for this fit at the shop, using precision gauges and measuring tools.
