PTP Spark Plug Boots safeguard your spark plug wires from high temperatures. Featuring a unique coating and user-friendly design, these boots are an excellent choice for protecting your pricey spark plug wires and preventing misfires due to plug-wire burnout. Simply slide these 3/4" diameter, double-thick (triple-thick at the sewn end) sleeves over any spark plug cable and boot (including right angle boots) to shield them from engine temperatures up to 1,200°F. PTP Spark Plug Boots are entirely non-conductive, halogen-free, resistant to all engine chemicals, and will not support combustion. Once installed, the sleeves need no clearance from hot surfaces and can even rest directly on hot exhaust headers without impacting performance.
