The Tesla range of vehicles use a spin on oil filter on their transmissions; 2 wheel drive vehicles have one filter on the rear transmission with all-wheel drive vehicles having two filters;one on the front and one on the rear. The Laser 8617 filter cup is engineered to fit the filters and allow for safe removal;as well as allowing the new filter to be fitted with a ½”D torque wrench.
