The Midland LXT-600-VP3 is a compact, general purpose FRS two way radio for camping, hiking, or all around family activities. The LXT600 has a maximum range of up to 30 miles in optimal conditions (typically less than .5 mile in urban conditions). The Midland LXT600VP3 boasts 36 channels - 22 standard FRS channels plus 14 extra channels and 121 privacy codes. Standard features of the Midland LXT600 include NOAA weather alerts with weather scan, channel scan, HI/LO power settings, LCD backlit display, silent operation, eVOX, keypad lock, 5 call alerts, auto squelch, monitor, roger beep, keystroke tones, mic and headphone jacks, battery life extender and is drop-in charger capable. It is also water resistant, operates on regular alkaline batteries or rechargeable battery packs and comes with a three year warranty. The LXT600VP3 radio pack comes with eight Midland LXT600VP3 radios, eight belt clips, eight rechargeable batteries, four desktop chargers, four AC wall adapters and owner's manual.
