The StarTech.com 4 Port USB 3.0 PCIe Card and USB to Ethernet Adapter bundle expands your computer's connectivity. The PCIe card adds 4 dedicated USB 3.0 ports to your PC via an internal PCI Express slot. Each USB 3.0 port provides up to 5 Gbps of bandwidth for fast transfers with USB 3.0 devices. An optional SATA or LP4 power connector lets you power high-powered USB devices up to 900mA per port. The card is backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.x devices. The USB to Ethernet Adapter adds a Gigabit RJ45 port to your computer via a USB 3.0 connection. It supports 10/100/1000 Mbps network speeds and is backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.x systems. The adapter uses an ASIX AX88179A Chipset for native laptop and desktop compatibility. It's bus-powered and has status LEDs. With both adapters, you can connect more USB 3.0 drives and accessories as well as have a reliable wired network connection. The PCIe card maximizes USB 3.0 speeds while the Ethernet adapter provides an alternative to WiFi. Together they expand your computer's versatility and connectivity options.
