12 x 12 x 3 VGF Merv 11 three-inch deep pleated Media Air Cleaner for return air grilles. A replacement filter upgrade to your traditional one-inch filter to a better three-inch media air cleaner that provides much better air filtration and air flow. This is a top-hat style filter has a self-sealing flexible 3/4 foam gasket that eliminates dirty air bypass, a superior design to filters that use a rigid gasket. Our unique filter gasket fits into the one-inch filter slot with the excessive depth of the filter protruding in the duct system. The foam gasket holds the filter in place preventing the filter from settling (noise) when your HVAC system cycles on and off. This deep pleated Media Air Cleaner delivers MERV 11 rated filter efficiency, delivers the lowest pressure resistance/pressure drop, highest dust holding capacity, and longest service life, which provides cleaner air to breathe and improved HVAC system efficiency via cleaner components. This filter is constructed with a synthetic media that delivers high efficiency. MERV 11 rated filters remove between 65% and 79% particle size ranges from 1 to 3 microns (which includes most dust and allergens) from the breathing air per ASHRAE 52.2 test results.
