This galvanized boat trailer axle is manufactured by Continental and has a 3500lb. weight capacity with proper spring placement. It is ideal for boat trailers due to it's hot-dipped galvanized coating which provides superior corrosion resistance and protection from saltwater. The spindles on this axle feature the EZ-Lube system* which allows you to grease the bearings via a zerk fitting on the tip of each spindle. *EZ-Lube system allows you to grease your bearings through a grease fitting on the spindle and will not be compatible with the Bearing Buddy System. Axle Measurements: - Hub face measures 83 3/4" - this measurement determines the location of your hubs in relation to your frame and fenders. - Overall length measures 88" tip to tip. - Will safely accommodate a spring seat center of 65.5" to 71" (any spring seat measurement outside of this range means the axle will be de-rated, or it will not mount up to your trailer correctly.) Includes Fully adjustable Hot Dipped Galvanized spring seats which offer easy setup with no welding or drilling! This adjustable spring seat is used with your U-Bolts and Mounting plate to set your leaf springs in the same location as they were on your previous axle. Specifications: - 2" Square tube diameter required the standard 2" Wide U-Bolts and 5 Hole plate used to mount your leaf springs back to your axle. (Sold Separately) - Heavy duty 1/4" thick tubing. - Stainless Steel wear sleeves provide a superior seal surface and prevents premature grease seal failure. - Uses inner bearing # 68149 - 1 3/8" inner diameter. - Uses outer bearing # 44649 - 1 1/16" inner diameter. - Grease Seal - 1.719" inner diameter. - Castle nut & Spindle washer with cotter pin included. axle can be 1/2" length difference.
