1.5 Inch Tri Clamp RIMS Tube with 5/8"Hose BarbOur 1.5"TC RIMS Tube is designed to maintain a constant mash temperature. It can also be used for step mashing and also mash-out. The body diameter is 1.5"(38mm) OD tubing with a 1.375"(35mm)ID, providing for an improved flow rate across the element to reduce any possible wort scorching. A 18"(457mm) overall length of the RIMS tube itself allows for almost any heater element to be installed. The mounting bracket made to clamp around the body of our 1.5" RIMS tube. It pre-weld s M8 nut to accept a M8 bolt or it can be welded to your stand. The length of the M8 bolt is 60mm. The element is constructed of shiny 304 stainless steel and will look like new for years. It features an integrated 1.5" Tri-Clamp ferrule as well as an integrated L6-30P twist lock plug! No longer do you have to figure out how to enclose your heater element to make it safe. Any L6-30R twist lock receptacle will connect to this element for a perfect fit. It is an ULWD (Ultra Low Watt Density) element, so no worries about scorching your wort.
