Once it has cured, no odor can be detected. Best to keep your DIY project outdoors for a day or two, then savor the exceptional quality later on once it has fully cured / dried out. For best results, ensure the resin is catalyzed with MEKP (Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide) per the directions on the label so it cures properly. Also remember that it is not compatible with polystyrene foam because it contains a styrene monomer. Curing times will be affected if not mixed fully or temperatures are lower than 70° F. • ✅ GRADE A - Not low quality boatyard resin, this Polyester Fiberglass Laminating Resin is the highest grade you will find. A premium product used in the marine industry and by most RV and Boat manufacturers. Marine Grade Resin. Each Gallon includes a 2oz bottle of MEKP (catalyst) with it. Order 5 gallons and get 5 x 2oz bottles of MEKP, 8 gallons will have 8 x2oz MEKPs and so on.
