These #17 x 1" metal roofing screws are ideal for connecting metal panels to metal purlins and replacing loose screws in older structures. They feature a 3/8" hex head, EPDM bonded washer for leak prevention, and galvanized finish for corrosion resistance. Pre-drilling is required for installation. Note that colors may vary due to production differences. Our EPDM washers outperform neoprene in extreme temperatures. The screw head is painted to ensure a tight seal, with no paint on threads for maximum strength. Use a screw-gun with torque control or depth sensing for installation.
