The edges of this lovely wallet were extremely screwed up when I bought this, so I first refinished the trim with a leather compound paint and then mixed a wine purple color of premium leather paints for the trim, changing the original color of tan brown.
I also refinished with leather paints on the inside of the wallet/clutch, altering the colors as well. It was one solid color but I added some variety for aesthetic purposes. The gold logo leather strap button was all scratch up so I did the best I could refinishing that and it’s shown in the photo up close. It’s a really adorable Celine to be honest.
Lastly, I added holes, new hardware, and a new chain strap to turn it into a purse!
