Why described as "high end"?
It is because the simulated pearls on this necklace are totally different than the imitation pearl out there, which are made of plastic and light weight.
Ours are heavy in weight. Structure is : shell bead inside and layers of pearl powder coated outside. Hence the "weight" you will feel.
As to the appearance, ours look quite like real deal. Only that if you examine the pearls by rubbing one pearl against the other, it feels smooth/slippery vs. it will feel "sandy" when one does the rubbing with the real pearls
