A saddle that's been a favorite of road and 'cross riders for years, the R3 is a more affordable version of the R1, with much of the same technology built in. They both feature Fi'zi:k's TwinFlex body, which has a stiff border for support and a forgiving center to serve up cushioning where you most need it. The R3's TwinFlex is made from nylon and fiberglass, as opposed to the carbon of the R1, which delivers a modest difference in flex that's more than offset by the significant savings. Fi'zi:k also built the R3's rails from K:ium, a proprietary alloy that's lighter than titanium but cheaper and more durable than carbon. A Microtex cover finishes the saddle off with a smooth, sleek look and loads of durability, so you'll be able to keep your saddle fresh without having to baby it.
