This piece expresses the synthesis of the two major traditions present in the Portuguese porcelain: the European decorative taste in the elegance of the Chinese porcelain. It is the creative reproduction of a beautiful plate based on the model of those that integrate a famous service commissioned by the Bishop of Porto to the India Company in the late eighteenth century, which Vista Alegre enriched with paintings of a great artist in his early days: Victor Rousseau. In the central motif of the plate you can see the Chapel of the Vista Alegre Factory, with its patron, Our Lady of Penha de França.
