The Princess and the Frog Prince is a retired, rare figurine, created exclusively for the Lenox Legendary Princess collection. She is hand painted and embellished with 24 karat gold. This figurine has never been displayed and remains in the original Styrofoam. She is in excellent condition and comes from a smoke free and pet free home. COA is included. The original Lenox box is tarnished from age. As the story goes, the beautiful princess made a thoughtless promised to a frog which she never believed to have to uphold. When she kept her promise to the frog, it eventually turned into a handsome prince. His story was that he had been changed into a frog by an evil fairy and was fated to remain that way until a princess removed him from the water and promised to allow him to sleep on her bed for three nights. After keeping her promise to the frog, the handsome prince appeared and married the beautiful princess and lived happily ever after!
