Ellingers Agatized Wood is a well-respected company in Sheboygan, Wisconsin that makes bowls from leftover woods. The company was founded in the 1950s by Walter A. Ellinger, a Sheboygan native who owned a roofing company, mill, and wood flour manufacturing plant. Ellinger developed a process to make wood flour from wood shavings and clippings, which he then bound with resin and put under heat and pressure to create solid bowls.
