This vintage HEIRLOOM PATCHWORK QUILT / THROW was made by my neighbors Grandmother for her graduation in 1970.
The Ladies last name is BUIS. She has passed on. The granddaughter, Mary Anne , has now had to downsize and has had to part with many treasures, as most do from moving from a rural area to the city.
As you can see in the photos there are a couple of rough squares where the threads have separated,i think it gives it more CHARACTER but what can you expect due to age and use.
