This is a beautiful vintage 9-piece Nativity set by Goebel, West Germany, model #6040, dating to 1965.
The set includes:
Mary
Joseph
Baby Jesus in manger
Three Wise Men
Shepherd
Ox
Donkey

Each piece is hand-painted porcelain with the Goebel W. Germany mark on the underside. Figures are in very good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks, showing the fine craftsmanship Goebel is known for.
The original box is included — it shows significant wear, splits, and age-related damage, but it is the authentic Goebel 6040 box and confirms the set’s originality and completeness.
Figures measure approximately 3"–5" tall.
