Gorgeous pair of thick wood wall hangings of the Lady Madonna and Jesus. Made in Italy. These plaques were acquired from a Catholic priest in our area, who was downsizing due to having to go into assisted living. I was honored to be able to receive several of his Catholic decorative items, including these two wall plaques. I've not been able to accurately date these items, but I do know they are old, and have been on his walls for quite a long time. They are both in good solid condition, but they do both have some wear. Most noticeable is the tear in the picture on the top of one of the pieces. They are each 16" tall, 10.5" wide, and 1.25" thick. Each one weighs nearly 3 lbs. They are being sold as a pair.
Condition: Pre-Owned Good
Some wear on both pieces, most noticeably a tear/scuff in the picture at the top of one of the plaques. Overall very nice items.
