This is an original WW2 GERMAN wehrmacht mess kit marked G&CL 40 for the manufacturer and date of 1940. Also marked DHS 40 or similar on side of bottom part. Original paint. The spoon/fork is possibly post war made, it has no markings. Soldier name scratched into front as shown. Nice addition to your collection or great for reenactments. Please email with any questions.
