Handwoven silk scarf approximately 9 inches wide by 56 inches long.
Prior to weaving the silk was hand painted by myself in a rainbow of vibrant colors. In order to dye the yarn, I first measure each thread under even tension, then I lay them out on a flat surface and paint the dye on. Each thread is handled a number of times throughout the weaving process.
This scarf features a 7.5 inch twisted fringe. Luxuriously soft, this scarf is sure to be a statement piece.
