This here is an extremely good quality metal detector vintage.
Vintage 1970s Metal Detector By Fisher In Original Box. VLF-441 is known to be used for years by gold nugget prospectors. Also famous on black sand beaches. This has been stored in the original box that came from FRL Incorporated and was sent to the Treasure Detectors of Maryland . This comes with 2 battery compartments storing 6 batteries each. One battery compartment has a crack so I taped it as the previous owner did, cleaned up, then inserted new batteries. It still works! Box is worn from 50 years of storage as shown in photos. Ground rejection .Update( I left it on by accident and the batteries leaked on the battery holder) until I clean it out again like I did the first time I'm selling this at a discount.
