Perfect for the professional, executive or CEO. This beautifully made suit by Herbert Grossman is probably from around the early 1980's. Made in USA. It has the red, white and blue union label which helps date it from 1975-1992. No fabric content but it is probably wool. Dry clean. The fabric is in shades of gray with strips of wine/burgundy that match the large enamel buttons. The jacket has a button closure. Front pockets including a breast pocket that is still tacked closed. The back has a strap detail with button. Shoulder pads. The strait skirt has a back zip and button closure. Side pockets. Back vent. The skirt is marked size 4 but fits my size 2 mannequin nicely. The jacket is marked petite. It measures 21 long. 15 across the top of the shoulders. 23 1/2 sleeves. Laying flat seam to seam it's 18 across under the arms, 16 1/2 at the waist. The skirt measures 25 long. Laying flat seam to seam it's 12 across at the waist, 18 at the hips. It's in very nice condition.
