This Gemeinhardt Flute plays the middle octave okay. The lowest octave doesnt play well; aparent damage on one of the pads (see pics.) these pads look original, so it might be in need of a complete overhaul. For now- this flute plays the mid range notes that you would find in first and 2nd year flute studies.
This flute is in pretty good cosmetic shape. No major scratches or big dents. There is one small dent on the underside of the body. The keys show tarnish around them.
This flute will play notes between high G and mid Bflat. (See pic circled in purple.) It’s leaking on the low notes perhaps this key pad pictured. This might be a good flute for high school marching band- it plays well on those mid range notes. It does have tarnish, surface scuffs, light scratches.
The 3 pieces are original matching gemeinhardt parts. The headjoint is in good shape, tho shows tarnish on lip plate. The case is original black and has a 4 inch crack in the shell (pictured.)
