Vintage handmade Taxco Mexico sterling silver pill box with hinged domed shape lid. Item is stamped 925 which is the standard for sterling silver. Also stamped TM-46. The “T” is for Taxco which is a city in Mexico known for making high quality silver jewelry and other items… and “M-46” means the silversmith who made this item was the 46th registered at Taxco with last name started with M. This rare item is very good condition with some tarnishing from age. No dents. Lid hinge and snap-close clasp work as normal. Measures about 1” diameter and 3/4” high. See pics for more details.
