Made in the U.S.A. by Smith-Corona Classic for Sears, this rare avocado green model with the pleather-inlay was designed to mimic the decor du jour of the era. This vintage typewriter’s carriage moves smoothly, and the bell dings clearly at the end of each line and all of its keys strike and fall back well. It types in a beautiful cursive font that Smith-Corona called “Artistic Script,” which is a comfortable 12 characters per inch (elite). Please see photos for a type sample.
